Your Audio Stays in the Tab
This site has no back end. There is nowhere for an audio file to be sent, and no account to attach it to.
Audio Files
When you select a file, the browser reads it locally and decodes it in memory using the Web Audio API. The bytes are never placed in a form submission, a fetch request or a worker message to a remote origin. Closing or reloading the page discards the audio; nothing is cached.
Analytics
Page views are counted with a cookieless, privacy-preserving analytics service. It records the page path, the referring site, the country and coarse device information. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint visitors and cannot identify an individual. Because of that, no consent banner is shown.
Advertising
There is no advertising on this site at present. If advertising is introduced, this page will be updated first, and the tools themselves will not be placed behind it.
Local Storage
Tool settings are not persisted. A reload returns every control to its default. If preset saving is added later, it will be opt-in and stored in your own browser.
Third Parties
The site is served from a content delivery network, which necessarily sees the request for the page itself. Fonts are self-hosted, so no third-party font service is contacted.
Relationship to Other Sites
EasyFader is a BrynSonic project and is hosted on a subdomain of it. BrynSonic may operate its own analytics, which are described on its own privacy page. Nothing on this site shares identifiers with it, and no information from this site is sent to it.
